Lela L. Dunkle, 102, of Licking, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015.

She was born Aug. 8, 1913, in Emlenton, Pa., daughter of Merle Blaine and Myrtle Iona Adams Ross. She and Charles Charles Dunkle Sr. were married in 1931. He passed away in 1973.

She was a member of the Licking United Methodist Church and loved her church family. She attended the Licking Bridge Builders Senior Center regularly and loved to play cards and bingo. She also enjoyed dancing and going gambling and traveling.

She worked at Boeing Aircraft in California for many years as well as other various places.

She was a resident at Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool, Mo. at the time of her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her father; a son, Charles Dunkle Jr. in 2009; and two sisters, Myrna Evans and Dorothy Fisher.

She is survived by three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; two great-great-great grandchildren; and two nieces.

Services were Saturday, Nov. 7, at Fox Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Maxey and Grant Heithold officiating. Graveside services will be in Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, Calif.
