A Licking man was injured Friday morning in a Laclede County accident on Highway C six miles south of Lebanon.
Cpl. J.C. Marlin of the state patrol said a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer driven eastbound by David J. Urton, 24, traveled off the right side of the road, the driver overcorrected and began sliding before traveled off the left side of the highway and hitting a sign and fence.
Urton, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance with moderate injuries to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The vehicle was totaled, Marlin said.
