Houston celebrated its recent wins in the Missouri Community Betterment program with a reception Monday at the Houston Storm Shelter at First and Pine streets in Houston.
Houston’s honors include:
•First place, Houston, 2015.
•2015 Leadership Award, Wilda McNiell.
•2014 Leadership Award, Alice Wells.
•2015 Youth Award, second place.
•2015 Youth Award, Taylor Bryson.
•2014 Youth Award, Ben Hugenot.
•2015 MCB Youth State President, Makayla Koch.
The reception was hosted by Houston Community Betterment and Arts Council.
