One person was injured early Saturday when the driver’s car struck a deer north of Licking on U.S. 63, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Cpl. Terry Nelson said a southbound 2013 Cadillac XTS was driven by William S. Combs, 28, of Valley Park, when it struck a deer in the roadway at about 2:25 a.m. about five miles north of Licking.
Combs, who was wearing a seat belt, was to seek his own treatment. The vehicle was totaled, Nelson said.
