Arthur D. Johnson, 90, passed away Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015.

He was born July 30, 1925, in Bell City, Ark., son of James and Esther Boardman Johnson. He and Lorene Davidson-Breedlove were married July 10, 1948, in Heber Springs, Ark.

He and his wife, Lorene, moved to Missouri in 1950 and later to Licking in 1955.

He worked in the timber business for several years and was a truck driver for numerous employers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lorene; and his son, Gene.

Survivors include his daughter, Brenda Mitchell of Washington, Mo.; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many other family members.

Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Licking with Pastor David Jett officiating. Burial will be in Licking Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
