The City of Houston issued a reminder Tuesday that city taxes this year are being collected under an agreement with Texas County.
City Administrator Larry Sutton explained that the city’s taxes are listed on the county bill that was mailed last month to property owners.
City residents will pay their taxes to Texas County Collector-Treasurer Tammy Cantrell, who will then remit the taxes to the city.
