Edna Josephine Foshe, 96, passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, at Houston House.

She was born Sept. 26, 1919, in Dallas Center, Iowa, daughter of Charles Edward and Rachel Viola Lancaster Goodin. She and Harlin Foshe were married April 3, 1942.

She was a member of Oakside Church and attended as long as her health permitted.

She retired from Angelica Uniform Factory in Summersville after more than 30 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed helping others, seeing that they were taken to their doctors appointments or anywhere they may need to go.

She enjoyed to sew in her spare time. often making quilts for others. She loved to give her handmade quilts to family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harlin; two brothers, Thomas Goodin and John Goodin; and three sisters, Irene Foshe, Viola Leek, and Ruby Spacek.

Survivors include three children, Junior Foshe of Washington, Mo., Carolyn Foshe of Houston and Billy Foshe of Springfield; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Earl Goodin of Fenton; a sister, Mary Tune of Summersville; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

Funeral services are Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Oakside Cemetery under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
