Clayton Moore scored 14 points and Kyler Ramsey added eight to lead the Houston eighth grade boys’ basketball team past Licking 35-30 Tuesday night.
Isaiah Buse added six points and Connor Wilson had two for Houston, which improve to 3-4.
“Isaiah did an outstanding job on Licking’s best offensive player,” Houston coach John Coussons said. “We played a box-and-one and shut down their ability to run an offense.”
The Houston seventh-grade lost 45-27.
