Kyler Ramsey scored 13 points and Isaiah Buse had 10 to lead the Houston eighth-grade boys’ basketball team past Cabool 43-20 Monday night.
Clayton Moore added seven points for Houston, which improved to 5-4 and 4-1 in the South Central Association.
The Tigers have won three consecutive games entering Friday’s home game against Licking.
“This victory is one of our better team wins we have had this year,” Houston coach John Coussons said. “The guys played hard. We cut down on turnovers and mistakes. We look forward to hosting Licking on Friday night.”
Jacob Mosely scored eight points in the Houston seventh grade’s 29-25 loss to Cabool. Alex Castleman added six points.
The Tigers are 2-7 overall and 2-3 in the SCA.
