Military veteran

Joseph Paul DeVincenzo, 88, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at Missouri Veterans Home in St. James.

He was born July 29, 1927, in Boston, Mass., son of Thomas and Diana Fici DeVincenzo. He and Angelina P. Leone were married Nov. 26, 1950.

He served with the 13th Army/Air Force during WWII. After his discharge from the military, he was a police 
officer and also worked in private security.

He and his wife, Diana, moved to Licking in 2005. He resided there until his health declined. He then moved to Missouri Veterans Home.

He enjoyed going to Harrah’s, traveling, Italian food and holidays with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Thomas DeVincenzo; and two
brothers, Philip DeVincent and John DeVincenzo.

Survivors include four children, Diane DeVincenzo of San Diego, Calif., JoAnne 
Moulton of St. James, Paul DeVincenzo of San Diego, Calif., and Patricia Theall of 
Grafton, N.H.; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great
grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside service with military honors were Saturday, Dec. 12, in Licking Cemetery with Rick Mosher officiating. Services were were under direction of Fox Funeral Home.
