Linda Gene Hatcher, 59, passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at her home in Houston.
She was born July 16, 1956, in St. Louis, daughter of William Glen and Gerlene Verble Duncan. She and James L. Hatcher Sr. were married Jan. 4, 1986, in St. Louis. He passed away June 18, 2014.
She loved bingo, playing on her tablet, collecting movies, spending time with her family and friends and her dog, Roach. She also loved the holidays.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and four grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Michelle Mahler Jacob Hatcher, Angela Howell, Melissa Hanson and Jason Branson of Houston; Jennifer Johnson of Tecumseh, Billy Hatcher of Pomona, Jamie Lewis of Salem and James Hatcher of Flat Rock; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Diana Mead of Houston; a brother, Terry Duncan of Licking; and eight nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at Houston Bible Baptist Church with David Barbee officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
