Lottie Mae (Wyble) Perkins was born in Clayton, Mo., on Aug. 1, 1946, to Allen Russell Wyble and Goldia (Jett) Wyble. She made her heavenly flight on Dec. 23, 2015 in Phelps County, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Ladd; her mother and father; sister, Anna Fisher; and brother, August Russell Wyble.
She is survived by her husband, Everett Leroy Perkins of the home; six sons, Bill Martin of Okeechobee Fla., Bobby Martin and wife, Karen, of Licking Mo., Jimmy Martin and wife, Stephanie, of Harrisburg Ark., Rodney Martin and wife, Barbara, of Houston Mo., Warren Martin of Okaechobee Fla., and Everett Leroy Perkins Jr. and wife, Wendy, of Wappapello Mo.; three daughters, Lisa Sheppard and husband, Mark, of Columbia Mo., Teresa Noonan and significant other, Chris Price, of Auxvasse, Mo., and Leah Van Kirk and husband, James, of Duke, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bobby, Ronnie and Roger; five sisters, Helen, Juanita, Leah, Billye and Susie; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Lottie married the love of her life, Everett Perkins, on Nov. 26, 1977. They shared 38 wonderful years together. She was a co-pastor at Disciple’s Fellowship Church in Licking, Mo., for many years. She loved her family unconditionally. She enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting and playing board and card games. She was a devout Christian who served her church family and community tirelessly and joyfully.
Although there is a void in our hearts and lives, we take comfort knowing that she is sleeping peacefully in the arms of Jesus.
Services were 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at the Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Russell Summers officiating. Burial was in Hutchason Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Martin, Bobby Martin, Jimmy Martin, Rodney Martin, Warren Martin and LeRoy Perkins. Honorary Pallbearers were Helen Warren and Leah Van Kirk.
