Cloe “Pat” Virginia Thompson, 94, passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015.
She was born June 28, 1921, in Centralia, Wash., daughter of Leo and Esther Marie Bergman Osborn. She and Alfred Marshall Thompson were married July 1, 1937, in Vancouver, Wash.
Her unusual name came from a book her grandmother, Anna Bergman had been reading. Her early years were spent in Forks, Wash. where her father worked in the logging industry.
She spent her life loving and caring for other people. She cared for her own mother, Esther Eilts, in the home for many years before her death in 1993. She also cared for her husband, Alfred, in the home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred in January 2004; her son, James Alfred Thompson; and her parents.
Survivors include two children, Donna Howell and Mark Thompson; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Memorial Services are Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Bradford Funeral Home. Burial at a later date will be in Street Cemetery.
