Kobe Sutton scored 10 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter as the Houston Tigers stayed alive in the Cabool Holiday Tournament with a 47-38 win Monday against Dora.
The 10th-seeded Tigers (3-6), who lost to Seymour in Saturday’s opening round, face Crocker at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Lucas Kelley and Skylur Malam added seven points apiece for HHS.
“We have struggled shooting the ball this tournament,” Tigers coach Robert James said. “We scrapped defensively just enough to generate some offense late to get the win.
“I am glad to see us stay positive and keep grinding when our shots weren’t falling.”
