Since the program began, Walmart has donated more than .5 million to help more than 90,000 U.S. teachers offset the cost of classroom supplies. More than 5,000 Walmart stores around the nation are eligible to choose one local public school (grades K-8) for the cards to be distributed. Seventeen Raymondville teachers received cards, while the other three went to janitors, cafeteria workers and bus drivers.

The Houston Walmart Supercenter recently donated to the Houston Senior Center and to teachers at Raymondville School.
