Eulalia “Cissy” Zamora Walser, 76, passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, after battling cancer.

She was born Feb. 12, 1939, in Magdalena, Mexico, daughter of Jose Benito and Hilaria George de Zamora.

She grew up on a small farm surrounded by fields of sugar cane. Mexico was never far from her heart even after she made Missouri her home.

She loved listening to music, baking, volunteering, gardening and being involved in her church. Her greatest joy came from spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include her husband, Leon Walser; a daughter, Elizabeth Zamora; two sisters, Fidelia George Zamora and Delphina Zamora George; a special daughter-in-law, Sherry Walser; and many grandchildren.

A Celebration of life is 11 a.m. Friday, January 15, at Evans Funeral Home. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
