Grace Jean’ne Shelley, 74, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2015, in Cabool.
She was born Aug. 18, 1941, in Grinnell, Iowa, daughter of Ralph and Dorthy Fallin Sweeney. She and Dennis Shelley were married Oct. 15, 1978.
She attended the Fairview Pentecostal Church as long as her health permitted.
She loved being a housewife and taking care of her family. She enjoyed sewing and making clothes and special gifts for family and friends. She also enjoyed being outdoors and hunting.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Dennis; a son, David Tuter of Rogersville; a stepson, Shannon Shelley of Winter Haven, Fla.; two daughters, Deborah Barber and Jessica Shelley of Springfield; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Dub Day of Dallas, Texas; and a sister, Lou Ann Horton of Fair Grove.
Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Fairview Pentecostal Holiness Church with John Emery officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
