Joice Louise Jeffries, 67, passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, at Ashland Healthcare.

She was born July 27, 1948, in Edgar Springs, daughter of Tomy and Bessie Williams Blake.

She worked for Pryor’s, Long John Silver’s and Cracker Barrel over the years until her retirement. She enjoyed watching the KC Chiefs, listening to Elvis Presley and collecting dolls and clocks. She also loved flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jessie “Gene” Blake; and two sisters, Thelma Lamb and Velma “Ruth” Bailey.

Survivors include a daughter, Twyla Stow of St. James; a son, Roger Geller of Fulton; a brother, Henry Blake of Edgar Springs; a sister, Alice Wagoner of Jerome; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Batye officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery.
