The Houston JV Lady Tigers built a big lead, lost it but were able to regain it to remain undefeated.
Houston outscored Willow Springs 16-3 in the fourth quarter Thursday night for a 49-41 victory inside Hiett Gymnasium.
Ally Morgan scored 11 points and Chloe Hunninghake had 10 for the Lady Tigers, who improved to 6-0.
Houston led 12-7 after the opening quarter and extended its advantage to 16 points during a 9-0 run that included a pair of 3-pointers by Carly Crawford.
Willow Springs went on a 27-6 spurt through the second and third quarters and led 38-33 entering the final seven minutes.
But HHS answered as Morgan scored five points during a 12-0 run to start the fourth quarter.
