Rebecca “Becky” Carol Howell Thomlinson, 75, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, at Kansas Medical Center in Andover, Kan.
She was born Dec. 27, 1940, in Shannon County, daughter of John Howell and Mildred Smith Howell of Hartshorn. She and Kennith Thomlinson were married Jan. 13, 1959 in Springfield.
She and her husband, Kennith, resided in Springfield until 1971when they moved to Summersville to raise their family.
She loved spending time with her family, including reunions with seven brothers and four sisters. She enjoyed holidays, deer camps and spending time on Current River. She also was a big photograph collector and soap opera addict.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kennith; her parents; a sister, Louise Pitts; and a brother, Danny Howell.
Survivors include four children, Barry Thomlinson of Wyoming, Beverly Beck of Eminence, Jeff Thomlinson of Rolla, Kan., and Scott Thomlinson of Hooker, Okla.; six brothers, Robert, Pete, George, Gordon, John and Bill, all of the the Summersville and Hartshorn areas; three sisters, Edna Mae Clayton of Kansas City, Fern George of Hartshorn and Jean Eiffert of Florida; and many extended family members.
Memorial services are 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at Bradford Funeral Home.
