Vivian Mae Labbee Williams, 68, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at her home in Strafford.
She was born Dec. 25, 1947, in Raymondville, daughter of Adian C. and Mildred Patterson Labbee. She and James Williams were married July 2, 1976.
She attended school in Raymondville and St. Louis. She worked for Walmart in Springfield and Alabama as a sales associate and later as a customer service manager for more than 10 years.
She was a staunch Democrat and loved politics. She enjoyed word puzzles, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, reading on her Kindle and working in her flower garden, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Tony Burton and Teresa Wilson; two brothers, Rick and Danny Labbee; and a sister, Lavaughn Labbee.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Jim of the home in Strafford; three sons, Thomas Labbee of Strafford, Michael Burton of Huntsville, Alab., and Samuel Burton of Pisgah, Alab.; a brother, Clifton Labbee of Bourbon; a sister, Janet Labbee of Licking; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
Services are Tuesday, Jan. 12, at Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Haley officiating. Burial will be in Mahan Cemetery.
