Charles Robert Cole, 72, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at his home in Ozark.

He was born April 19, 1943 in Houston, son of David and Melissa Morgan Cole. He and Gwendoline Cook Cole were married June 14, 1968 in Ontario, Calif.

He was a Marine Corps veteran, serving three tours in the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Marine Corps in 1980, he had many other endeavors but hung his tools as an electrician and retired from the IBEW in 2003.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, four sons, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark. Burial with full military honors will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield.
