Dale Gene Briggs, 70, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, at his home.
He was born April 29, 1945, son of Vernon P. and Elsie A. Derryberry Briggs. He and Vickie L. Romans were married June 9, 2001.
He was a member of Valley Center Baptist Church. He loved camping, fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Donna Dickerson.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie Briggs of the home; two sons, Vernon Briggs of the home and Dewe`y Bradley of Kansas City; a brother, Darrell Briggs of Hartshorn; and other family members.
Services were Sunday, Feb. 28, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Wheeler and the Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Burial was in Valley Center Cemetery
