The Texas County Health Department seeks public input to improve its planning efforts for public health emergencies.
The agency has developed a short 10-question survey to gauge the public’s knowledge about communicable diseases, including how they are spread, prevented and investigated. Data from the survey will help the health department develop public information materials and plan presentations throughout the county to enhance public understanding of communicable diseases and how their spread can be prevented with community participation.

A hard copy is available at the health department (on North U.S. 63) for people without Internet access.
This project is made possible by federal grant funding through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. To learn more, log onto texascountyhealth.org or call 417-967-4131.
