Three fire departments were called at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday after a report of a residence on fire.
Houston, Raymondville and Licking were called to 406 Florence. Later, Raymondville and Licking were told not to respond.
Authorities said occupants of the house were able to escape to safety. Heavy smoke was seen coming from eaves.
