Jerry Wayne Collins Jr., 31, passed away Feb. 23, 2016, after a long battle with infection on his heart.
He was born Oct. 28, 1984, son of Jerry W. Sr. and Betty J. Collins Marquitz.
He loved being with his children, family and friends as much as possible. He also enjoyed having family dinners and barbecues.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include three children, Kylee Samantha, Kristen Savannah and Kaden Shelton Dean of Houston; his mother and stepfather, Betty and Anthony “Tony” Marquitz of Eunice; a brother, Tony Marquitz of the home; a sister, Paula Kennedy of Eunice; a sister, Amanda Crane of Mountain View; stepbrothers, Bill Marquitz of Beaufort, Jason Marquitz of High Ridge and Mike Marquitz of High Ridge; a stepsister, Donna Marquitz of High Ridge; and many other family members.
Services were Saturday, Feb. 27, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Burial was in Union Chapel Cemetery.
