Fires popped up across the county on Friday afternoon.
At about 3:30 p.m., fires were reported at:
•Turley Road and Highway M, a field fire.
•Turley Road (A second field fire in the neighborhood).
There were about six different fires at 11153 Turley Road at about 5 p.m., authorities said. Multiple departments have been called, along with bulldozer equipment. By 7 p.m., departments were leaving the scene.
•6121 Highway 17, Yukon. A field fire was reported 100 feet from a home.
