Houston police handled several investigations during the last week.

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Riley L. Weaver, 20, of 16448 Forrest Drive in Houston, was issued a citation for failure to exhibit insurance identification card after an investigation of a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 at about 4 p.m. Feb. 5.

•Kody D. Carter, 20, of 1026 W. Highway 17 in Houston, was cited for displaying plates of another after a traffic stop at Hawthorn Avenue and Hamrick Avenue at about 5 p.m. Feb. 11.

•Dawn M. Sikes, 37, of 102 N. Pine St. in Mountain View, was cited for stealing under $500 after allegedly shoplifting a lighter valued at $14.99 from Smoker Express on Feb. 2.

•Cooky R. Sutton, 40, of 413 Broadway in Houston, was issued a citation for allowing an animal to run at large on Jan. 15. She was cited again Jan. 16 for the same brown dog running loose.

•Jami L. Vance, 32, of 7023 Highway KK in Hartshorn, was ticketed for failure to yield right of way after a two-vehicle accident at U.S. 63 and Holder Drive at about 1:45 p.m. Jan. 7.

•Orion D. Wikert, 17, of 15849 Piney Drive in Bucyrus, was issued a citation for peace disturbance after allegedly driving a black Ford Mustang at an excessively high rate of speed on Oak Crest Drive on Jan. 26.

•Bo L. Saiz, 21, of 816A Augusta St. in Houston, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after an investigation on Jan. 12.

Saiz was cited after an officer and a DFS investigator went to his residence regarding a report of a possible methamphetamine lab. No lab was found, but an item of paraphernalia was, police said.

•Rita M. Hinnah, 39, of 14108 German Road in Bucyrus, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after allegedly shoplifting from Walmart on Feb. 11.
