The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating an accident in southern Texas County where a gun was fired after an ambulance crew arrived on the scene at mid-afternoon Tuesday.
The incident occurred on Highway 137 near Chapel Road.Â
Authorities said an ambulance crew arrived at the scene of the crash and reported gunfire from the driver of the vehicle.Â
No one was injured, the scene was quickly secured and the Clear Springs Fire Department arrived there shortly after the incident. Emergency personnel remained on the scene for about two hours, leaving at about 5:30 p.m.
Additional details are expected to be released Wednesday.
