Houston senior Sarah Kelley led the Houston Lady Tigers’ three all-conference selections with a spot on the first team.
Also joining Kelley on the all-SCA team were Abby Casper, a second team pick, and Jaydin Ramsey, who received honorable mention. Both are juniors.
Senior Kobe Sutton represented the Tigers on the boys’ all-SCA team as an honorable mention selection.
Kelley, a center, averaged team highs of 17.4 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. Casper scored 9.2 points per game and a team-best 3.7 steals. Ramsey led the Lady Tigers in 3-pointers.
Sutton, a shooting guard, averaged a team-best 13.9 points for the Tigers.
Payton Curley, a junior from Salem, was the girls’ player of the year. Salem coach Jake Reardon was the girls’ coach of the year.
On the boys’ side, D.J. McNew received player of the year honors. Mountain Grove’s Duane Hiler was the boys’ coach of the year.
