Houston players Sarah Kelley and Abby Casper were both named to the all-district team in Class 3 District 10. Lady Tigers coach Brent Kell was named the district’s coach of the year.
Kelley, a senior center, averages 17.4 points and a district-best 9.6 rebounds per game. She also led the district with 2.2 blocks per game to go along with 2.1 assists and 2.7 steals. Kelley shot 54 percent from the field and 76 percent from the free-throw line.
Casper, a junior guard, averages 9.2 points per game and a district-leading 3.7 steals. She also averages 2.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 41 percent from the field and 73 percent from the line.
Also named to the team were: Beth Sherbo, Willow Springs; Piper Francis, Liberty; Jacey Swofford, Ava; Halie Allred, Hollister; Ashley Ingram and Dalrayn Feringa, Licking; and Lacey Moore and Maycee Lumley, Forsyth.
The team was selected by the coaches.
