An Ellis Prairie man will stand trial in Pulaski County in the shooting death of his wife, a circuit court judge decided Thursday.
Steven M. Sprous, 30, is accused of first-degree murder of his wife, Courtney, 23; four counts each of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon and first-degree sodomy.
Spous is to appear in court on June 21 for motions. He will remain in the Texas County Jail.
Sprous is accused of murdering his wife in January and firing shots into homes on Highway AA.
