The Texas County Fair Board conducted weigh-ins for pigs, goats and sheep last Sunday at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds.

The annual Texas County Fair livestock showing and competition are set for July 13-16, culminating with the junior livestock sale on the afternoon of Saturday, July 16.
The fair board’s annual Youth Market Animal Prospect Jackpot Show is set for Sunday, June 5, at the fairgrounds. Weigh-ins will occur 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. and showing will start at about 10 a.m. (animals must be in place by 8:30 a.m.).
