Texas County Food Pantry Inc (TCFP) is participating in Give Ozarks 2016 event, a 24-hour online fundraising marathon occurring May 3.
About 200 Ozarks nonprofit agencies are participating in this event to raise both money and awareness of philanthropy in the region. TCFP will raise funds for the local “Weekend Backpack” food program that helps local food insecure students.
Persons can support the effort by making a secure donation at giveozarks.org/2016/tcfp anytime from midnight to midnight on May 3. Texas County Food Pantry Inc. will have the opportunity to win cash prizes throughout the day.
All gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the IRS, and the pantry welcomes gifts of any amount. Give Ozarks is one of dozens of crowd-sourced nonprofit online fundraising marathons being hosted by community foundations across the nation on May 3, which is Give Local America Day.
