The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:
•Franklin R.J. Pearson, 25, of 807 Dooley St. in Houston, was issued citations for failure to stop at a posted stop sign, driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at Lilly Avenue and Holder Drive at about 8:25 p.m. March 29. An officer made the stop after observing a gray Dodge Caravan travel through the intersection without stopping.
•Angela D. Briggs, 38, of 315 W. Chestnut St. in Houston, was cited for possession of marijuana on April 1.
Briggs was cited by an officer who went to her residence to arrest her for having an active Texas County warrant for possession of marijuana. While there, the officer observed a tube that contained of marijuana.
Briggs was taken to the Texas County Jail, where she posted $5,000 bond and was released.
•Christina M. Hayes, 33, of 772 Sommerfield Drive in Houston, was cited for driving without a license on April 1.
•Kristina M. Shelton, 38, of 16247 Roberson Drive in Houston, was cited for stealing under $500 after allegedly shoplifting five baskets of pansies from Walmart on March 17.
•Patricia A. White, 76, of 7743 Morton Road at Houston, was ticketed for failure to drive on the right half of the roadway following a two-vehicle accident March 31 at U.S. 63 and Oak Hill Drive.
•Teresa D. Mendenhall, 32, of 8861 Hayes Drive in Houston, was cited for driving while revoked on March 25.
