A Licking man was arrested Sunday following an accident in Dent County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Wesley M. Kovachik, 33, was traveling westbound when his 2003 Dodge pickup went off Highway 32 about 15 miles west of Salem, went off the top of a guard rail before overturning into a creek, said Tpr. G.A. Moravec.
Kovachik, who refused treatment following the 6:39 a.m. wreck, was arrested on misdemeanor DWI charges, failing to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash and having no insurance.
The vehicle was totaled. He was not wearing a seat belt.
