Two of Barry Wheeler’s players are following him to Crowley’s Ridge College.

Houston High School seniors Katelyn Martinez and Krista Scott have signed letters of intent to play volleyball at the Christian college in Paragould, Arkansas.

Their first season will also be the first for Wheeler, who coached one season at HHS before accepting the head volleyball coach position at Crowley’s Ridge.

“I am excited to have both Katelyn and Krista joining me at Crowley’s Ridge College next season,” Wheeler said. “They are the high character athletes that CRC seeks to recruit. After spending this season with them and getting to know them, I am confident that they will continue to be leaders in the community, the classroom and on the court.”
