The refurbished indoor space on Main Street in downtown Houston was showcased in an open house event last Friday, with members of the University of Missouri Texas County Extension and Downtown Houston Inc. sharing information and displays.
In addition to office space for University Extension, there is a meeting room and community kitchen, along with restrooms.
Also included in the event were recognition of three Texas County properties as “Century Farms.”
