Due to scheduling conflicts with other area fairs, the dates for this year’s Texas County Fair are now set for July 13-16.
The county’s biggest annual event was previously set for July 20-23.
Weigh-ins for market goats, sheep and hogs is set for 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 17.
The fair board’s annual Youth Market Animal Prospect Jackpot Show is set for Sunday, June 5, at the fairgrounds. Weigh-ins will occur 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. and showing will start at about 10 a.m. (animals must be in place by 8:30 a.m.).
