Abby Casper and Shelby Cremer both won a pair of events at Monday’s conference track meet in Ava.
Casper was victorious in the 100- and 200-meter sprints while Cremer won the pole vault and long jump to lead the Lady Tigers, who finished fourth. The Tigers were fifth.
Athletes earn all-conference honors by winning or placing second in an event. A third-place finish earns honorable mention.
Casper ran the 100 in 12.7 seconds and the 200 in 26.30. Cremer cleared 7 feet, 6 inches in the pole vault and leapt 14-2 in the long jump to win both events. She also had a third-place finish in the triple jump.
Madison Lawson earned a pair of all-conference honors in hurdle events. She was second in the 300 hurdles in 54.37 and third in the 100 hurdles in 18.73.
The Lady Tigers’ 4×100 relay team – with Casper, Sevanna Rowland, Emily Shea and Melody Buse – finished second.
On the boys’ second, Trenton Best earned all-conference honors by finishing second in both hurdle events. He ran the 110 hurdles in 16.51 and 300 hurdles in 42.88.
Caleb Adkison was honorable mention in both hurdle events. He was third in the 110 hurdles in 16.72 and third in the 300 hurdles in 44.34.
Noah Moseley also earned honorable mention recognition by clearing 5-6 in the high jump to finish third.

The Lady Tigers had 87.5 points to finish fourth. Liberty won the girls’ team competition with 117 points, followed by Willow Springs (107), Ava (95.5), HHS, Salem (80), Mountain Grove (57) and Cabool (10).
Mountain Grove topped the boys’ side with 144 points, followed by Liberty (122), Salem (103), Ava (101), HHS (44), Willow Springs (29) and Cabool (14).
