Highway BB in Texas County is closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a pipe under the roadway.
The closure is located from Decker Road to the end of state maintenance. The culvert will be replaced when the Big Piney River returns to normal levels. Flooding caused it to collapse, MoDOT said.
No timetable has been released. Barricades will remain in place until work is completed and the road reopens.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area, MoDOT says.
