The Houston Area Chamber of Commerce will host the inaugural “Piney River Days” Thursday, June 9, through Saturday, June 11, in downtown Houston.
The event will feature entertainment in the Lone Star Plaza (between Grand Avenue and First Street) from 6 to 9 p.m. each day, including the Christian band, “One,” on Thursday, the Riders on a Mission (R.O.A.M.) motorcycle stunt riders and ministry group and rock music from Cabool’s KZ88 radio station and D.J. Mark (with “Trance on the Porch”) on Friday, and Garold McCoy and the South 63 Band on Saturday.
Vendors will be on hand, and a carnival with rides will be set up on city streets.
