The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Christine Shurden, 88, of 5826 Highway 17 at Yukon, was cited for following too closely after a two-vehicle accident on Grand Avenue and U.S. 63 at about 3:45 p.m. May 6.

•Kody D. Carter, 20, of 319 Grand Ave., Apt. B, in Houston, was arrested for having an active municipal warrant for failure to exhibit an insurance card after an officer who knew of the warrant observed him exiting the Corner Express store on U.S. 63 at about 6:30 p.m. May 5.

•Nathan K. Hale, 35, of 9626 Highway AE at Plato, was arrested for having an active municipal warrant for driving with a suspended license after an officer who knew of the warrant observed him standing in the yard of a Bryan Street residence at about 4:30 p.m. May 6.

•Heather L. Cierley, 32, of 1310 Colburn Road, Apt. 1, in Cabool, was issued a citation for driving while suspended after a traffic stop on Chestnut Street at about 6:15 p.m. May 7. A computer check revealed that Cierley also had an active Texas County warrant for speeding.

•Daniel K. Labbee, 31, of 713 W. Chestnut St. in Houston was arrested May 6 for having an active Texas County warrant for stealing – third offense.

An officer made the arrest at the state private probation office in Houston after being advised Labbee was there. He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $100,000 bond.

•William T. Hebert, 30, of 5027 Marquis Road in Summersville, was ticketed for failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to exhibit an insurance card after a traffic stop on Thomasville Road at about 11:10 p.m. May 7.

•Kathleen Deluca, 57, of 11892 Highway 63 at Licking, was cited for stealing under $500 after allegedly shoplifting several items from Walmart on April 30.

•Rebecca J. Tune, 26, of 777 W. Highway 17 in Houston, was arrested for having an active municipal warrant for a stop sign violation after an officer who knew of the warrant observed her in the Walmart parking lot at about 8:45 p.m. May 5.
