Houston native Amber Sillyman was honored with the Mark Robb ‘Team First’ Award at Central Methodist University, which is given to a student-athlete from each sport that puts the team before themselves.
Sillyman is a member of the volleyball team and was one of over 140 student-athletes to be recognized at the annual CMU athletics banquet for their achievements during the year.
Sillyman, the daughter of Brian and Cindy Sillyman, is a junior early childhood education major.
CMU offers 14 different athletic teams and is a member of the Heart of America Athletic Association and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Since its founding in 1854, CMU has evolved into a university that confers master’s, bachelor’s and associate’s degrees through programming on its main campus in Fayette and through extension sites across Missouri and online.
