County fire departments responded overnight to blazes reported to have been sparked by lightning.
Early Wednesday evening, the Roby Fire Department was called to 12121 Highway 17 near Highway AP. Lightning had reportedly struck a house.Â
At about 4:45 a.m. Thursday, the Summersville Fire Department was called to Spring Valley Road where hay was on fire.Â
