A popular addition to the sports program at Houston Schools last year is returning with the new school year, officials announced Tuesday.
The district last year introduced a color sports guide that was distributed during the football, volleyball and softball seasons, as well as basketball and baseball seasons. It contained photos, schedules and rosters for the various games. About 5,300 were distributed last year at events.
Julee Chipps, high school secretary, oversees the effort. Sponsorships for each season are $125 or both for $225.
