Houston police handled several investigations during the last week.

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Gina M. Dodson, 32, of 902 Hiett St. in Houston, was cited for driving while revoked on Aug. 12.

•Cody W. Ice, 75, of 180 North St. in Houston, was issued citations for driving while suspended and no insurance after an officer investigated a crash at U.S. 63 and Holder Drive on Aug. 23.

•James P. Mitchell, 66, of 10885 Higgins Drive at Licking, was arrested at about 1:50 a.m. Aug. 25 for having an active Texas County warrant for felony possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

An officer who was aware of the warrant made the arrest after observing Mitchell sitting on a bench in front of Walmart. He was taken to the Texas County Jail and held on $100,000 bond.

During the booking process, a container containing a substance that tested positive as methamphetamine was reportedly found in Mitchell’s left-front pants pocket. A probable cause statement was sent to the county prosecutor seeking an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance inside a county jail.

•Susan L. Dixson, 40, of 315 Chestnut St. in Houston, was cited for first-degree trespassing after allegedly using the bathroom inside Walmart at about 7 p.m. Aug. 15. Dixson had been banned from all Walmart properties after an incident last March.

•Dillon J. Heilig, 25, of 8227 Fisher Drive, No. 1, in Houston, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after allegedly returning items at Walmart without actually buying them.

•Matthew G. Royer, 33, of 909 Highway 17 Terrace in Houston, was cited for allowing a dog to run at large on Aug. 25.
