Houston High School senior Chance Hunter was named the Week 1 ‘Built Ford Tough Player of the Week.’
Hunter rushed for 64 yards on 17 carries in the Tigers’ season-opening loss to Ash Grove. He also tied for the team lead with seven tackles, including one for a loss.
Player of the week honors are selected by the Varsity Club and sponsored by Romines Motor Co.
