A July 29 patrol operation resulted in 54 citations and 50 warnings, the agency said. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued 54 citations and 50 warnings during a July 29 hazardous moving violation enforcement operation in Texas County on July 29.

Totals from the effort included:

•36 speed citations.

•Six no seat belt citations.

•Two child restraint citations.

•One non-moving violation citation.

•Two other hazardous moving citations.

•One failed to stop for stop sign citation.

•Two  failure to yield citations.

•Three uninsured motorist citations.

•One driver license violation citation

“Hazardous moving violation operations are one tool the Missouri State Highway Patrol uses to make our roadways a safer place for Missouri’s motorists,” said Capt. Mark G. Inman. “Please be careful when behind the wheel and always be a courteous driver.”
