A man charged with murdering his Ellis Prairie wife appeared in court last week.
Steven Sprous, 30, is to make his next court appearance Oct. 25 in a Waynesville courtroom for an update on his case. His case was moved to Pulaski County after a judge granted a change of venue earlier this year. Sprous was in court last week for a case update.
He is charged with first-degree murder, four counts of armed criminal action, sodomy, three counts of unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of an illegal weapon.
Sprous was charged in the January death of his 23-year-old wife, Courtney, and firing shots into homes on Highway AA.
